MISSION STATEMENT & HISTORY

The intent of the Roy Maltby Fundy Hockey School is to provide an opportunity for all skill levels to participate in a well-organized and structured hockey school at an affordable price. Sportsmanship, social development and skill development shall be the paramount objectives.

The founder of the Fundy Hockey School was the late Roy Maltby. Roy's invlovement until his passing in October 2013, has demonstrated energy, simplification and leadership for 30 years. Under Roy's guidance, the Fundy Hockey School has donated tens of thousands of dollars to CCMHA to help offset cost with various aspects of minor hockey.

Over the years, Fundy Hockey School has seen many head instructors, to name just a few - Keith Blenkhorn, Dave Crocker, Grant Lewis, Darren Nixon, Jamie Matthews, Jeff Lewis, Corey Crocker and now, Ryan Reynolds. All instructors of the Fundy Hockey School are alumni whom have taken time out of their personal schedules each September to teach our youth the fundamentals of hockey in a fun environment.
